This session will introduce the basics of text analysis with Python. Participants will gain hands-on experience analyzing texts with different Python libraries and parsing the resulting analysis. In this workshop, we will discuss how building a practice of reflexivity can help graduate students find gaps in their research, approach problems with fresh perspectives and develop resilient writing habits. Students attending this workshop will be introduced to different reflexive methods, questions that can target specific areas of reflexive thought and a group exercise to jump-start their own reflexive journey. - Sep 26, 2025: Suicide Awareness Summit 2025 at Holley Academic Center St. Joe Community Foundation Lecture HallREGISTER Join us for our annual Suicide Awareness Summit at FSU Panama City in the St. Joe Lecture Hall inside the Holley Academic Building. This is a free event open to the community that will discuss issues and solutions surrounding mental health and suicide. This year's theme is "Trauma to Resilience: Coping Through Connection" and aims to focus on the mental health challenges of Veterans & First Responders. This year's keynote speaker is Michelle Lawrence, LMHC, MCAP, Lead clinician for 2nd Alarm Project. Her topic will be "How the Brain Reacts to Trauma." Evidence-based training will be provided to participants. This is an in-person event. After the main summit ends, an optional suicide prevention skills training will be offered from 1:30-2:30pm. The 1-hour workshop presents a standardized, nationally recognized approach known as QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) and is delivered by PanCare.
